ErgoMedic and ErgoMedic PLUS

There are stringent demands on a functional working-chair. One of the major is that it should be comfortable and provide an ergonomically correct sitting position. Mercado Medic has in co-operation with physiotherapist Bengt Engström developed the seat systems below.

On the chairs REAL 2000, 6100 and 9000 we have developed the seatsystem ERGOMEDIC. The system is now standard and consists of three parts working togehter: seat-, back- and armsupport.

To further increase the sitting comfort of the chairs the system ERGOMEDIC PLUS has been developed. The system consists of four cooperative parts: seat, backrest, neck- and armsupport.

Carolina Dimitrov leg. physiotherapist has taken a test that measures how the seat angle affects the pressure on the butt.
